Finding Poppets
The cottage is within our property, St Raphaels, a former convent on the outskirts of the village of Buxted, known as Pound Green, close to Uckfield in the heart of the Sussex High Weald. Just 40 minutes from Gatwick Airport, 90 mins from Heathrow and 30 mins to the Coast. Brighton (22miles) Royal Tunbridge Wells(15miles) Lewes(12miles) Rye(32miles) and Eastbourne (23miles).
By Road we are off the A272, main roads from London are either by A22 or M25, M23. Central London is reached inapprox. 90mins.
Buxted Station is 2 minutes drive from the cottage or a 15 minute walk. A train runs every hour into London Bridge and the journey is approximately 75mins.(There are more trains during peak times).
From Mainland Europe we are about 90mins from the Channel Tunnel/Eurostar terminal at Folkestone.
