Welcome to Poppets Cottage
Poppets is a one bedroom single storey, self catering cottage situated in the grounds of our home, with rural views and walks into the East Sussex High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Originally a convent in 1908, the house and cottage are now homes to our family and visitors.
The property is situated on the outskirts of the village of Buxted, our house and the cottage are approached by our private rhododendron lined driveway. The cottage sleeps 2 comfortably and has it’s own parking.
It’s ideal for walkers and riders, visitors to Ashdown Forest, Glyndebourne, Lewes, Brighton, Rye and Tunbridge Wells. Just 40 minutes to the coast and 70 minutes by train to London. There are many castles, historic houses, National Trust properties and beautiful gardens to visit and English county pubs, some famous for their gastronomy !
A well behaved dog is welcome, but please keep him or her out out of the bedroom and off the furniture. There is a charge to cover extra cleaning.
